Performance - unethical_chili - 08-25-2025

The program is blazing fast compared to any other software I've tried, despite my outdated gpu
what numbers is everyone else getting, and what are you running it on?

I have a 5700x3d, rx580 8gb and a 1440p 165hz monitor (also a second 1080p but mostly use the main screen)
I'm getting about
100fps recording
27fps detection
80-120fps (usually around 100) on the overlay
using 5 frames delay, dxgi and no msaa

tested with a fairly harsh censor (with no added distractions), on an nsfw MMD video, fwiw

RE: Performance - TerriblePerson123 - 08-25-2025

i haven't tried many softwares. in fact i just have tried this and the original s4b.
also have an old PC: i7 4770, rx5700 non xt

according to fluctuating numbers on the performance tab i get while running my custom paywall collection:
60.3 fps recording
24.9 bodies detection
59.1 screen overlay

i also like watching MMD, which detection model has worked the best for you on these videos?

RE: Performance - unethical_chili - 08-25-2025

I use small bodyparts, x4 and anime everywhere (I don't watch much if any real porn)
I'm surprised with the numbers you're getting
I just did some testing, set my cpu to 5% max usage in windows power plan (limit the frequency) and I saw a slight descrease in performance: 90, 20, 80fps

Also tested out cpu detection, it gets much lower body detection fps and I had to increase the frame delay from 5 to 13
So appears that higher body detection fps = less frame delay, maybe. Or it's only one factor of many.

Despite your faster gpu you're getting worse performance than me, but the gap seems too big to be just the cpu bottlenecking it
In fact, when I set the cpu to detect, I got much higher fps on recording and overlay (until I increased the frame delay), meaning it's solely the gpu handling those
So I have to ask. do you perchance have your fps limited to 60?

RE: Performance - gotezone - 08-25-2025

Hi Mine is weird, i am using laptop with rtx 4060, at first install i got around average 40fps, now i only got 15-18 average fps.
do you know whats wrong with it?

RE: Performance - unethical_chili - 08-25-2025

You'll have to be more specific, which of the thee fps counters, what settings are you using?
It's likely that you selected cpu detection instead of gpu

RE: Performance - zuza - 07-13-2026

GPU: RX 9070 XT ASUS TUF GAMING 16GB OC
Drivers: AMD Adrenalin 26.6.4
Screen: 144hz 1440p
Detection: x2 and x4 enabled
Accelerator: DirectML (MIGraphX doesnt work)
Hotscreen version: Full v0.9.1

Max FPS of screen recording: i capped it to 72fps, results in constant 72 fps
Max FPS of bodies detection: capped at 72fps, constant 72 fps
Max FPS of the overlay: capped at 90fps, 90fps on idle, jumping around from 60-90
Average screen to overlay latency: 16ms on idle, 22ms to 30ms when "working"
Antialiasing: None
Recording method: Windows 10/11 (Best)
Update eyes positions every: 0.08 sec

I've loaded some multi-level Beta system filters collection, tweaked to be more harsh and censor more bodyparts, each with different methods.
I also found that it's good to set "Screen Latency to correct delay" to 2 frames, to minimize the risk of something uncensored slipping on the screen.

I would love to see performance statistics from someone who's using 5070 ti or 5080 on 1440p, with x2 and x4 detections enabled.
My AMD GPU is amazing when it comes to performance per price, but only in gaming. I'm really thinking about selling it and buying nvidia gpu, but it depends on how much drastic the performance difference is.
