I made a little mod called Random Collection when locked. Basically, when Hotscreen is locked, it adds a slot-machine button right under the password box. Hit it, the button rattles through collection names for a second and a half, and then boom — it opens one random collection and shuts all the others. Good for when you can't decide and you'd rather let the lock decide for you.
Two things you can tweak in the mod menu:
How long after locking before you're allowed to roll (default 5 min)
How long you have to wait between rolls (default 30 min)
Both are saved right away, and the cooldown sticks even if you restart the game — so no cheating by closing Hotscreen ?
It rolls pool from your top-level collections.
