Just as the tittle says - I managed to get the gaussian blur that was posted here by @siamirold to scale with the size of objects, so when something gets bigger on screen it's still hidden and something that get's smaller is no longer a weird blop of colours.
there's a file with basic radius, and two of my presets, named after censoring regions i applied them to.

Probably the only 'dial' that there is that you might want to use is:
Where low values (0.02) is barely blured and high (0.25+) is totally blurred - you'd probably have to find a balance for yourself
