someone requested adding pause button as a shortcut from rightclick menu in tray - I made [prompted] a mod that does this and also allows setting a hotkey for pause.
hotkey is optional - it can be checked in or out, by default it's on and set as F8.
Both mode are deactivated when hotscreen is password-locked

Hey everyone?

I made a little mod called Random Collection when locked. Basically, when Hotscreen is locked, it adds a slot-machine button right under the password box. Hit it, the button rattles through collection names for a second and a half, and then boom — it opens one random collection and shuts all the others. Good for when you can't decide and you'd rather let the lock decide for you.

Two things you can tweak in the mod menu:

How long after locking before you're allowed to roll (default 5 min)
How long you have to wait between rolls (default 30 min)
Both are saved right away, and the cooldown sticks even if you restart the game — so no cheating by closing Hotscreen ?

It rolls pool from your top-level collections.

Let me know how it feels! Happy to change the sitting

**Warning, flashing lights. Themes include porn addiction, drug addiction, erotic hypnosis, pornosexuality, humiliation, and of course, gambling**

It is finally here. Version 5 of the slot machine improves on version 3 in many ways, but to sum up the difference simply, version 5 allows the user to be in control of the slot playing experience, rather than Hotscreen, and this comes with incredible video and audio customization.

The user can actually interact with an on-screen lever which triggers a random video of slot reels that has a corresponding censoring effect based on the magnitude of the slot's line pay. In the current version, 54 video files are included, as well as audio and text accompaniments, spin amount milestones, filter options per set of outcomes, custom weights, and more, all of which are highly customizable. Additionally, the ability to specify one root folder for all audio and visuals, and to be able to save a configuration file that is easily shareable and loadable, makes me hopeful that others will make their own custom slots, and I am happy to take suggestions as well.

Here is a link to a video of the mod in action: https://www.redgifs.com/watch/sametoughxuanhanosaurus

To install the mod, start by extracting the SMV5 folder to your desktop, or wherever you wish to store the assets for the mod. Next, open Hotscreen and load in the custom "SMV5 Default Filter" filter file, which can be done by first placing the filter file in the "CUSTOM_DATA" folder of Hotscreen, and then selecting it from "add filter>custom filters". This pixelation filter serves as the default censoring which occurs whenever uncensoring is not occurring. For instance, when the uncensoring timer has run out, this filter will kick in.

Next, load the slot_rewards.mod.tscn file into the mod section of Hotscreen. Make sure the pixelation filter from before is selected in the drop down at the top. Next, load in the included config file goon_slot_config_portable.json to load the preset settings. Please be sure to keep that config file with the rest of the files in that main folder, as it uses the location of the config file for local file pathing and asset retrieval (or that's what I gathered from GPT Astra, the real MVP that did literally all the coding).

After that, everything should be dandy, but please let me know if it isn't! I kinda rushed to get this out there because download numbers make me happy, but I will work to correct any bugs that might appear, and I apologize in advance if things are kind of cumbersome or not intuitive.

Hey folks, sharing a small mod I put together as I wanted to give something back.

I am looking for feedback. Even if it is "works for me", some idea for the mod, or even an idea worth for another mod.
As the creator of hotscreen told all of us to just AI some mods, I did too. No I didn't use any frontier model, just local AI. No Water harmed.

What it does:

Blocks the normal close paths of Windows.

Survives a reboot. So when you are locked and "forgot" to put hotscreen at startup yourself it restarts hotscreen when rebooting windows.

Restarts hotscreen when you killed it with task-manager.

Make sure to check the readme. (The mod needs python3 findable in PATH)

If you locked yourself or seem to be in a weird state check the Readme in the _spoiler folder.

Changelog 0.2:

Adds multiple session support for multiple monitors.

Fixes registering the protector in Paths with space in it.
